IMPORTANT INFOConference FormatThemed but Not SiloedICOS features multiple themes without rigid boundaries. Selected papers will be grouped into small sessions of thematically close presentations. Hence, presentations have thematic foci but do not take place in narrow silos. Conference participants are encouraged to hop between sessions and not to stay within a particular “track” or “stream”. There is no full paper requirement. Two daysICOS is scheduled for two full days. Please plan your trip accordingly. Anyone violating this Code of Conduct may be removed from the event and prohibited from attending future events organized by the organizers and the involved organizations. If during the conference you experience or witness unacceptable behavior, please report it to one of the organizers. Photography and Video Material WaiverBy attending ICOS, you give permission for the organizers to use images of you captured during the conference/events through audio, video, photo, and/or digital camera in publications and websites for the production of material distributed for a variety of purposes, including but not limited to educational, archival, or promotional purposes. By registering, you waive any rights, including but not limited to compensation or ownership. Participants always have the right to have their pictures removed. If you wish to have your picture or video removed, please contact us, and we will take action accordingly. Please note that under German criminal law, making audio recordings of individuals without their explicit consent is prohibited. Likewise, participants may not publicly distribute photographs or videos of others without their consent. These legal restrictions do not apply to photographs and recordings made by or for the organizers, or otherwise obtained with appropriate consent, in accordance with the Photography and Video Material Waiver. As participants, we request that you respect your colleagues and behave responsibly when photographing, recording, and engaging in social media activities. The organizers are not responsible for how attendees use privately recorded material. |
